V-day Table Runner

I don’t have many Valentine’s Day decorations…two I think? I tell myself I can get one new decoration every year for each holiday. Some years I skip because I can’t find anything I want or I doubled for a different holiday. Well, Nick and I were at Homegoods back in January and he let me pick out two decorations this year! I was so excited. Then I saw this table runner and feel in love. I started debating over which decorations I would want when I thought ‘wait I have left over fabric from my Christmas presents. I can get a small amount of red fabric for cheap. The Cricut can cut out hearts…’ (oh yes, I’m a Circuitier now!) And the decision was made.

So here is one of my lovely new Valentine’s day decorations that I made using my Cricut and sewing machine inspired by Homegoods. Needless to say, Valentine’s day I still up in our house. I thinking about doing another table runner in with Shamrocks for St. Patrick’s day. Too similar? Is the burlap phase out or not right for St. Patrick’s day?
