Number 87

We finished the first of our 101 goals, 72-hour kits. We figured that since we are in the middle of hurricane season and we could have another threat we better just put them together. We surprisingly had more that I thought we would but we nonetheless still had to get plenty more. For the record, if you don’t have one yet, I recommend having a game plan on how to assemble them over time instead of all at once. They add up to pricey little buggers and all at once stunk, at least for us. Saddly, we still have a few more recomened items to go but at this point we will spred those  out.

Can't forget the needed supplies for Bailey

Games to play. I used to play Pick-Up Sticks with my Grandma Almond when I was little.

Finally a good use for our little scriptures. We just don't have the Doctrine and Covenants.

Our ridiculously large bucket for storage. We have backpacks just in case.

Water for three days including Bailey.  Takes up so much space

We also have this great car kit, I tend to forget about it. It's an emergency car kit my parents got me with all the essentials in it. Grateful we have it, just in case. We were looking through it and noticed that the food in it will expire in March (after five years) and I kind of want to crack it open before then and try it. I’m kind of curious what it would taste like.
