Well, it looks like we are in the clear. We are still keeping a watchful eye since it could wabble back to the west but most likely not. We have heard that in the past, hurricanes have swung close enough that you could stand on the beach and watch a ton of lightning and black clouds from the outskirts of it pass by. That sounds a bit close to me though. Either way we are still officially 72-hour kit ready.
