New Job! New Job!

I have a job! It was the second on I applied for and it all happened so fast. I feel so lucky because I love it so much. I’m working with at one of the Marriott timeshares here on the island in the activities department. Pretty much, I set up, do, and break down any sort of activity we have at one of three timeshares within our plantation. It is so much fun. We do crafts, silly band trading, margarita nights, aqua aerobics, ice cream socials, wine glass painting, capture the flag, sand castle competitions, etc. I’m constantly moving during the day (most days, depends on the location) but it’s just a fun job. I don’t have to sit behind a desk and I get to help make people happy. What could be better?

The only pitfall, schedules. I have been blessed with only working Monday-Friday with the weekends off. I don’t go in until mid-morning and get off till later evening. Nick goes in first thing and has off a few hours in the afternoon and then back until ten o’clock at night give or take 30 minutes. His ‘weekend’ is usually Wednesdays and Sunday afternoons (hopefully soon all Sunday, keep us in your prayers for that one). Pretty much, we went from seeing each other a lot to not at all. Oh well, it is already making our time together even sweeter than it has ever been. I love that man!
