January 2014

A new year, a new look (still in progress), a new name; although I am not sure if I like having a ‘specialty name’ for the blog. I know I can’t believe it is January 2012. It didn’t even get cold until last night. On New Year’s Eve Day Nick and I took Bailey for a walk on the beach in shorts and t-shirts. Now how many people live in a place where they can do that? It was pretty nice.

Of course today, it’s cold and windy and our header is on. I think we have had it on a total of six days over the last two months, if that; helps save on that electric bill. But now, it’s probably will stay on. We tend to know its cold when Bailey comes in from going potty and runs back to our room and dives under the covers for warmth. I was excited for winter and the cold partly because it was Christmas. Doesn’t Mother Nature know by now that winter is supposed to be a December phenomenon only? Here’s to hopping it gets warm enough for Bailey and I to go for a walk on the beach today.

So, Happy New Year! I just officially made my resolutions this morning. I have kind of been working on them for a few days now anyways, thought I would just make it more official. Nick asked why he needed to because we already have our 101 going. But I said we could pick some out of that and that our 101 is not all exclusive, although, my goals play into it a lot. Hope you all made some too.

Oh, and I’m fully planning to still be writing this blog come 2013. Actually, I plan to be living and celebrating 2013 as well. I’m trying to talk about it 2013 and make plans for it because of the whole 2012 scare. Nick and I watched a program on TV about it and some computer robot thingy that surfs the internet and can predict major happenings before they happen, kind of. Well the programmers  said it always comes back with nothing for anything after 2012. So In Jan of 2013 I plan to be writing a similar post. In May of 2013 I plan to celebrate my three year wedding anniversary with my husband. In the summer of 2013 we will go on vacations together and enjoy the heat aging. In November of 2013 we will celebrate Nick’s 27th birthday and in December of 2013 I will count down the days until January 2014 where I will celebrate my 25th birthday. Take that robot.

Also, thank you for the comment on my blog. I know this is coming a little late, but it meant a lot. :)
