Funny Things About Bailey

We are just so obsessed with  Bailey being our first child,
we put dippers on her just so we could change them. No,
acutally Bailey was in heat and this was a necessity.
She loves to pick up random things out side, many of which we would rather she not have. So she knows to ‘drop it’ means let go. While if she finds something she really really really wants, ‘drop it’ doesn’t work so well. So I will tell her ‘drop it for a treat’. She drops it so fast. The other day the object got stuck in the hair of her muzzle; not wanting to have to give up that treat and wanting me to know she dropped it she started swatting at herself as fast as she could to get it to fall to the ground. So funny.

We let Bailey start sleeping in the bed with us (I know. I know.) but she refuses to sleep anywhere but at our feet. In the morning, when she wakes up she tries to make noise to wake me up before she really comes up to see us and great us. One morning, I woke up to her army crawling up me very slowly stopping every once in awhile and finaly resting on my chest. When I opened my eyes she got happy came the rest of the way and gave me kisses. This approach is defiantly her favorite and is repeated many days.

Snuggling with her frog. Placed there by Daddy of course.
Another time I felt like someone was looking at me, I roll over and Bailey is sitting there and then proceeds to kiss me because my eyes are open. She is very good about not doing anything until our eyes are open. We like her sleeping in the bed with us because she sleeps in longer and if she does wake up at seven a.m. I can get her to cuddle and go right back to bed. Best thing!

Attack the invader!
