A Small Change

First off, a little something about Bailey.

She used to be scared of her own farts. She farted one night, suddenly turned to look at her butt, took off running for her bed and then sat and looked at her butt. This happened a few times and made us laugh a lot. She has grown out of it. Well, mostly. She still startles herself once in awhile.

Now to the real post:

I have been watching a lot of HGTV ever since I helped my friend spring clean her house, probably a little too much because now I have tons of home improvement projects rolling around in my mind. I would love to completely renovate a few things but since that is not an option, we will settle on a little fresh paint for awhile. Our first room to receive new paint will be the kitchen, well third because we painted the bedroom and bathroom (a story to be posted later on) as soon as I moved in. Nick doesn’t know that I’m thinking about repainting the bedroom again.

In preparation for painting I decided to spring clean the kitchen-wash walls, wipe out cabinets, rearrange, and clean out the fridge. Which leads me to today’s post. I just started following this blog I heart organizing - I know the perfect blog for me - any who, she had a post on there about how she organized her fridge and I really liked it. My current arrangement stemmed partly from how my mom had done it and has not really been working for me. Certain things would get lost on the bottom shelf and I would overload the top blocking all the light anyways. So today I tacked rearranging and deep cleaning the refrigerator. I guess all those years of Liberty Square’s intense cleaning checks paid off because the fridge sparkles now and I love the new arrangement.

I'm going to be better about before and after pictures when I do these projects.

Before
After.
So much better. I even precut all my veggies and have healthy snacks on the top shelf minus the easter candy. I highly recommend the precut veggies, it helps so much with cooking. I feel like I can acutally see everything now.

There may not seem like much difference here but a bottle leaked everywhere so its much cleaner now. And the moving tape that was holding down the butter holder was removed...finally.

Tomorrow's project is the Freezer
