A little more about Bailey

From her Langford Grandparents- a little bedazeled fur vest

We were trying to get her to go potty in the hotel

It's been 48 hours and I already have to stitch up this toy

Those are mini size not normal tennis balls

We were trying to keep her in the tile area but she wanted out. It took everything she had to get over Nick's legs.

Can you tell how excited I am about our new puppy. It all started almost two weeks ago when I was talking to my mom on the phone and she was 'prying' to find out if we wanted a dog. Oh course we did but we were not going to invest in it at the moment. That phone call left me looking at the website where my parents got their puppy over a year ago. I started writing down the names of the puppies I thought were cute to give my mom a hard time for keeping me on the phone so long discussing puppies I couldn't have. Well, my cell phone started ringing and it was 'home' I answered, thinking it was just my mom, and said, 'Thanks a lot; now you have me looking at puppies from 'molly's' website". My Dad's response, "Good, cause Mom picked you out Bailey. Happy Birthday". Bailey was on my list of cute puppies and I had just gone back to her picture to look at her again when I got that call. Well a few hours later she was reserved for us! She wasn't able to come home until after January 16th, so we waited anxiously for a week. She was born in Texas and flew in to Atlanta. Lucky Nick's parents live in Atlanta so we were able to stay because she didn't come in until 10:34 at night. She was supper hungry but excited to see us. She was probably just excited to be out of the kennel.

She is brilliant. She has already learned to sit and shake and her potty training is going very well. We just love her. I think she is so funny when she sleeps; you can tell she has dreams because she will start making sounds etc. Anyways, we just love our little buddle of joy and feel just like parents. But this is defiantly the closest we will be getting to real parenthood for awhile.

Kisses!
