Christmas = Love

Christmas is here! Christmas is here! Christmas is here! I just love Christmas. I love everything about it and its finally here!!! I'm more of a Christmas is a 'season' not a 'holiday' person so I'm working on putting our decorations up. Thanksgiving and Christmas are of the same spirit – giving, family, happiness- so I feel that it's okay. Plus I have so many Christmas decorations and I want to enjoy them for longer than one month out of the year. However, I now finally feel like I have rearranged the house and decorated the way I want but took everything back down seeing as Christmas decorations are now in their place. Our tree this year is priceless. We don't really have nor want to go out and spend money on a real Christmas tree when there are better ways to spend that. So I have gotten out one of those house trees from the guest room and put ornaments on that. I also put one of my skirts at the bottom to hide the base.

Sadly, not everyone shares my love of Christmas and our complex says we can't put anything in the windows that's holiday related until November 26th. Little do they know I have plans to hang snowflakes in the windows early- they aren't Christmas decorations they are winter decorations. It's like my hunting PJ's. I used to have a pair of PJ bottoms that had pink snowflakes and reindeer on them. I wore them in the middle of March or something once and my roommate was giving me a hard time and I told her, 'these aren't Christmas PJ's, they are hunting PJ's'. Sadly they bit the dust and had to go.
We are now listening to Christmas music, watching Christmas movies, hot chocolate, etc. All of it. We're also excited to go home to California for Christmas. My whole newly completed family will be together for the first time since the wedding. I know that's only 7 months but it feels like a long time, especially when there are little ones learning to talk and walk.
